AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

PART-TIME FIELD TECHNICIAN

(2 Days or 4 Days a Week)

  • Responsibilities: Drive from yard to yard, enter yard safely, interact with dog(s) and occasionally a client, thoroughly clean yard, then make sure that all gates or doors are secured properly, place bags of waste in designated receptacle and move onto your next scoop. Simple and enjoyable but requires a high degree of independence, responsibility, customer service, great communication and attention to detail. You must be a dog lover. If you are not, they will know.

  • Part-time positions available: 1-4 days a week up to 8 hrs. a day. Our normal work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. You have the option to choose available days in the application.

  • Paid Training- Average training period is two weeks.

  • Once trained and scooping your own route you will make, with vehicle stipend, $17.50-$20.00 per hour. Full schedule will be 24 yards a day.

  • Raises are given after 6 months and 1 year of employment.

  • After month you will have opportunity for Performance Bonuses.

  • Coverage areas are Luzerne and Lackawanna County.

  • 8 paid Holidays annually. (When the Holiday falls on your scheduled scoop day)

 

  • MUST have reliable, insured vehicle and valid PA driver's license. You may need to driving up to 70 miles a day. 

  • Employees who drive their own vehicle will receive a vehicle stipend of $1.50 per scoop.

  • Must have smartphone and be knowledgeable with GPS services. Routes are sent to your phone daily.

  • We do have a dress code. You will receive an initial issue to get you started. Any items needed after that will be your responsibility

  • Essential scooping equipment will be provided.

  • Be advised- this job requires you being able to lift ups to 50 lbs, extensive walking and we scoop in ALL weather and ALL season's year round. This work is NOT easy but allows you the freedom of working outside by yourself and never having to punch a time clock.
